| In addition to course in Journalism, the Times Centre for Media and Management Studies has also conducted in the past, one year full time PGDMM courses in Marketing and Sales Management, in addition to a certificate course in Private Equity Management.
The marketing course content compares with the best offered by any reputed management institute in the country. A total of 1200 teaching hours are covered in the span of a year, coupled with internships that facilitate interfacing with practicing managers. The selection process lays particular emphasis in identifying aptitudes in areas of communication skills, team work and leadership, environmental awareness and outside-the-classroom accomplishments, among others, that are essential for a marketing & sales career.
